Hello my lovelies, today I thought I would talk about my experience with getting shellac. This was my first time getting shellac onto natural nails as in the past I have normally had acrylics. I wanted to try this out because I’ve heard that it helps nails to grow faster, im not sure I this is true but I certainly hope it is!
I find it quite hard to grow out my natural nails because they tend to snap a lot as soon as they get some length. By getting the shellac put over my nails I’m hoping it will help to strengthen them and they will be able to grow without snapping.
The whole experience was really great and there was amazing service, I always worry what the beautician will be like but she was lovely. I decided to go for the colour satin pyjamas because it was a nice nude colour that I thought would go well with any outfit. I wanted Togo for a more natural look because it was my first time and I didn’t know how they would turn out.
I love how my nails look even though I went for something simple I think they look polished and classic. The thing I’m loving about shellac is that it stays shiny. I’m a week in and they look as good as the day they were done!
Id love to know if any of you have had shellac before and what your experience was like? Let me know in the comment section down below!
Thanks for reading 🙂

I’ve never had shellac done before but I have an aunt who gets her toes done all the time and they’re always so nice looking…. 💁😊

Shellac is half gel and half nail polish sort of mixed together. Its much better for your nails than regular gel polish and it lasts for around 2-3 weeks! yes you definitely should xx

I do my nails at home. I have heard of Shellac nails but did not know until now that they are attached to your natural nails. The color you chose is very pretty and girlie loved it. 🙂

Shellac all the way! I even have my own polishes and lamp to do it myself, but I do love to treat myself and get them done properly now and then! ☺️

I’ve never had shellac before but I’ve had acrylics and they ruined my nails. Would like to hear how your nails are after a while of having shellac !? X
