What I Got For Christmas 2018

Hello lovelies,

I had a wonderful Christmas this year spending time with family and friends.

I got a few lovely presents amd the first thing I opened was this 2019 calendar which I love the pink and the gold look so great together. To go along with the theme I also opened up this lovely planner, the colours are gorgeous and I love the rose gold running through it.

The next present was a Chip mug I had been looking at these for a while and never went for it so when I opened it up I was very happy, Beauty and the Beast is one of my favourite Disney films.

I also opened up a lovely burnt orange/ rust pom pom hat which is lovely and will go with lots of items of clothing. The bobble onto is faux fur and the material of the hat is very soft, I’ve already worn it a few times and its very warm!

I also got this cute little hollow chocolate raindeer, along with some other chocolates such as a toblerone, matchmakers and and a lovely box of chocolates from my boyfriend’s parents.

I got a few different perfumes this year which I am so happy with and grateful for. My boyfriend gave me this perfume and body butter set from Next which is called White Amber, I adore this scent and think it is so wearable.

My parents also brought me a perfume which happened to be by Ariana Grande, I am currently obsessed with her and her music I have always loved listening to her music and I think she’s such a great role model! This perfume is called …… and its a very sweet scent it is perfect if you are a girly girl like me and do not want to wear a scent that is too heavy.

The last perfume I was gifted was from my lovely Grandma, this was a shock when I opened it up as it was totally unexpected. The scent is quite mature and sophisticated and that is one of the things I love about it, the more i wear it the more I love it I think it will be perfect to wear to a fancy meal or an evening out.

I also opened up a couple of books which I was really happy with, one of them was The Book Of Calm as I have anxiety my mum thought it would be nice for me to have. When I am feeling stressed or anxious i can flick though the book and there are lots of lovely quotes, i thought it was a really meaningful gift that will help me to stay positive

I also received a pair of fluffy socks which are always needed. I love wearing them and getting cosy in the evenings as I always seem to get cold feet.

I was given on gift set this year which was the soap and glory Pinkcredible set, in here there is a scrub, shower gel, Hand cream, face mask and a body butter. I love the original Soap and Glory scent it is a classic.

The last thing I received was a beautiful charm to go on my Pandora bracelet. I have had this bracelet for a few years now and I love it because on birthdays and christmas’ I usually receive a lovely charm to add to it. All of my charms were silver, I really love rose gold so my mum bought me this open heart work charm which is so stunning and really stands out.

I am so thankful for all of the gifts I received and this post is in no way meant to be ‘boasting’ or anything like that. I really enjoy reading posts like this so wanted to create my own!

I hope you have enjoyed reading, let me know what your favourite gift was this year in the comments!

Resolutions for Twenty Nineteen

Hello Lovelies,

How are you all doing?

Today I thought I would share my resolutions and goals for this year.

I have a few that I would love to achieve throughout 2019 as well as new things I would like to try. I wanted to my resolutions realistic and achievable by not setting the bar too high, as I’ve figured that normally doesn’t plan out the way you want it to.

The first thing on my list is the most important to me, I have struggled with my mental health a lot in the past but I feel this year is a time for change. At the start of 2018 I had no idea where I was headed, my future was very foggy and uncertain. Now we are at the beginning of 2019 and I can truly say I have not felt this happy with my life and myself for a long time. I am so much more confident, I am trying to face my anxiety head on which is something i have never attempted in the past and i believe it is doing me some good. I am going to keep a positive mental attitude, and try to see the good in every situation I am faced with.

My next resolution is to spend more time doing things I love, one of the main things here is writing. I really enjoy making content for my blog. I started my blog in February last year, now nearly a year on I want to really start making regular content and make time for it as it is something that makes me really happy. It takes the stress away and gives me something to concentrate fully on for a little while. I also have a big passion for photography so I hope to improve on the quality and creativeness of my photos this year and really make my images exciting and vibrant. I hope to gain more readers and to find more wonderful blogs to read myself in turn!

Another goal of mine is quite typical and something I say every year but have never really made it happen. I want to focus on getting fit. I would like to enjoy fitness as well as I know it helps people to feel happier and healthier in general. Toning up my body and get stronger are the two main aspects i am hoping to focus on. Something I have seen recently is Pole Fitness, this looks like such a challenge and I think I would really enjoy doing it.  As pretty much all of my friends are away studying at university I would have to brave it on my own, this is the only thing holding me back at the moment. I hope I can gather up the confidence to go as I know I would love it and it would definitely help with toning up!

Along with fitness, my eating habits is also something to centre my attention on. Being a vegetarian I’d like to think I implement a good amount of nutrients into my diet, fruit is something Im determined to start eating more of. I would like to incorporate it more into my breakfasts and lunches to get more of a variety. As well as that I am going to try cutting down on my dairy intake, I am going to try different alternatives and test them out to see which ones I can put into my diet in exchange with original dairy products.

I didn’t want to set myself too many resolutions/goals this year and think that all of these are reasonable and achievable if I work hard and don’t give up. I hope you’ve enjoyed reading and you stick with me throughout 2019 and you all have great year!

I would love to hear some of your goals for this year in the comments!

Thanks for reading 🙂

Winter shopping haul

Hello lovelies,

Today I thought I’d show you a little haul as I’ve been on a couple of shopping trips recently. Some of these items I found in the black Friday sale so I got them for a great price! This winter i wanted to try getting out of my comfort zone with my clothing and go for more bold items which I think I’ve managed to start.

Yellow Mustard Sweater

I was having a look around h&m and this lovely sweater caught my eye, it’s very bold and not something I would usually go for. I decided to try it on and loved it! It’s an oversized fit on the arms and body but slightly cropped as well. I love the kind of baseball sweater vibe you get from it, I definitely think its going to brighten up some of my winter looks!

I think it will look great with a pair of dark navy or black skinny jeans. Another one of my favourite things about this sweater is the zip along the front, I’ve seen this detail in a lots of pieces of clothing recently as its come back into fashion. I think it really adds to the item and completes it.

mustard jumper

Glitter Mesh Top

The next thing I purchased from H&M was this glittery mesh top, the photo really doesn’t do this top justice. I have been wanting one of these tops for a long time but never felt I’d be confident enough to wear one. When I saw this one I tried it on and thought it looked really nice, I would pair it with a bralette underneath or maybe a lacy vest top.

It has a round neckline and is a boxy fit so will go well with layering underneath, it could be tucked into jeans or a skirt or left out or tied in a knot. I think this top would be lovely to wear on a christmasy night out.

Leopard Print Skirt

This skirt has to be one of my favourite purchases from this haul, I absolutely love it. As soon as I saw it I picked one up and tried it on, I love the fit of it, it’s quite high-waisted and the zip detail on the front is lovely and very similar to the sweater.

The colour was the what drew me to this item I thought the red was beautiful and the leopard print pattern went with it so well. Animal print is really in fashion right now  as you all have probably seen. This skirt is a bit on the short side which is surprising as generally skirts are too long on me (being 5,1) haha but I think it’s passable when wearing black tights and a jumper.

Glittery Crop Top

This top is part of the Stacey Solomon range in Primark, as I’m trying to be more out there with my clothing I tried it on I adored it. I love all of the different rainbow colours that its covered in and the glittery finish makes it great for this time of the year.

I thought that by looking at the top when I tried it on it was going to feel scratchy because of the material, but surprisingly it didn’t to my delight so I decided to buy it. I have worn this top with a pair of black jeans and heeled boots, it helps make any outfit stand out as its so bright.

Pink Checked Skirt

The next shop i went to is Primark, they have so many lovely items in there at the moment! When i saw this skirt I fell I love with it instantly, I’ve worn it so much already.  In the winter it’s easy for me to just chuck on a pair of jeans, but I wanted to make the effort to try out different things this year so I’ve bought quite a few skirts this being one of my favourites that i hope to wear a lot over the festive season.

I love the material of this skirt its quite think and chunky which is perfect for the colder weather. I’ve been wearing this skirt with boots a pair of tights and a roll neck jumper. The built-in belt is a great addition to this item which I think adds to the vintage look they were going for with this skirt.

Roll Neck Top

I have been looking for a top like this everywhere but couldn’t find the perfect one. I love this style of top and think that the roll neck is perfect for cold weather as you don’t have to wear a scarf to keep warm. The material of this top isn’t too thick which is what I liked as I thought could wear it underneath pinafore dresses and layer up with cardigans or coats.

This top is ribbed which I also thought made it different to the other tops I had seen that were similar, I think the ribbed texture adds something to the item and makes it look less plain. I love the roll neck on it, there’s not too much material and it’s not too tight around my neck like others I had tried.  I found a lot of similar tops but didn’t think the price of them was worth it, this top is definitely worth the price tag.

White Roll Neck Jumper

I found this jumper in Primark and thought it looked stunning, I’ve never owned a white jumper before but after trying it on I had to buy it. This particular jumper is a little oversized which I love as its makes it even cosier. It loo
ks really lovely with everything I’ve paired it with so far (dark blue jeans, the pink checked skirt). As it is oversized it looks really great tucked in at the front and left out at the back.

As it’s got a roll neck its really warm and snug, it’s very loose fitted around the neck which is a bonus. The material is chenille, and is in lots of shops at the moment it has such a soft feel and is so comfortable. This jumper really brightens up my outfit and stands out, I’m really glad I picked it up and will be wearing it a lot throughout the winter.

That’s all for today, let me know in the comments what your favourite item was from this haul!

Where Have I Been?

Hello lovelies,

Life has been really busy recently so I apologise for the lack of content on my blog!

At the end of summer I finished college and was trying to decide what I wanted to do with the rest of my life.            I have now got a full time job and have been there for just about 3 months, I feel like I am in a great place to start blogging again.

When i first starting working I struggled to find the time to do the things I wanted to do as I went from having all my time off with summer to jumping into a full time position.

I’ve made a plan on how I am going to split my time between work and the things I love doing (BLOGGING!) and feel much happier and comfortable now.

I am so sorry for being a way for a while but I’m BACK and I hope to be uploading weekly.

This is my favourite time of the year, I love wrapping up in lots of layers and having lots of warm drinks, the fairy lights twinkling and christmas music playing is wonderful.

I have lots of ideas buzzing round in my head and hope you’ll enjoy the new content i’ll be posting very soon!

Summer Clothing Haul

Hello lovelies, I’ve been doing a lot of shopping recently as I am going on holiday at the end of this month. I thought I would write a post about what I’ve purchased.

The first shop I went to was Newlook, I ended up buying quite a few items in here as there was a big sale on!

The first item that caught my eye was this mustard yellow off the shoulder top. I thought this would be lovely to wear in the evenings with a skirt or a pair of shorts. I love the length of this top, it’s not too short or too long. Therefore it will sit well with anything high-waisted. This top was only £3 down from £8.99.

The next clothing item I saw was this lovely black vest top. I really like the zip detail running down the front on the top I think it adds a little more to it rather than being plain. When I tried this top on I thought it might be a little too short but when I paired it with some shorts that were high-waisted it worked really well. I also thought that this top would be good to wear on a beach day as it will go over  bikini nicely. The price of this top was £2 down from £5.99!

I then went to the 915 range, as I am quite small I am able to fit into size 14-15 still. I found this gorgeous pair of red floral shorts, I loved how bright these were and that there were frills along the edge of them. I don’t wear a huge amount of colour so I thought this summer I would branch out and try to be more confident by wearing brighter outfits. The material of these shorts is quite formal, because of this they will be good to wear when I’m out in the evenings on holiday and back at home. These shorts were origionally £12.99 and i paid £6 for them.

I came across this top when I was still in the 915 range. I really liked the colour of it as I don’t own many clothes that are a khaki green colour. I think the straps are really in fashion at the moment as I’ve seen lots of them around. The shirt is a really nice fit and I like to wear high neck tops as I think they look good with shorts or a skirt. This top was £2 down from £6.99.

I also went to Primark on this shopping trip and picked up  couple of bits. This first thing I picked up were two pairs of sandals. I really needed some of these as I have been having to wear throughout this hot weather. I wanted to find a pair of sandals that I could pair with any outfit. I really loved the look of these ones as they are black they will go with lots of outfits, the studs and gold rim add detail which I liked a lot as i think it gives the sandal more character. These were £6 which i thought was an amazing price considering how comfortable they are and their aesthetics .

The last thing I picked up was a this pair of pink sliders. I thought these would be a really nice pair of shoes to put with any outfit. I thought the ruffles were a different detail as none of the sandals I have are like this. These were only £4 which was a bargain, you can’t really go wrong with something like these.

That’s all for today, let me know what you think of these items in the comments!

June Favourites

Hello lovelies today i’m writing about my favourites throughout June, this month has seemed to fly by. I only have a few things to show you but I’ve been loving using them all. I hope you enjoy reading.

Zoella Sweet Inspirations

I love using this day to day because it’s not a super expensive perfume as its a spritz. I find the scent pay off is really good for the price you pay. I spray this on myself most days before i leave the house and i have been complimented on it a few times which is always nice! The scent of this spritz to me is very sweet, some may say its a bit sickly but i like it. It has a very almondy smell and i think it’s a nice scent to wear in the summer daily.

Vasaline Moisturiser

As the weather has been amazing in the uk throughout June I’ve been using lots of moisturiser on my legs. The thing i love about this one is that it’s in a spray can, this makes it really easy and fast to use and it sinks into the skin quickly after rubbing it in. The scent is also something i love about this moisturiser as it’s cocoa butter because of this ingredient it also makes the skin really smooth and moisturised.

Tiffany Necklace

For my birthday i received a Tiffany necklace from my mum and dad, I absolutely love it. The design and simplicity is what makes it perfect for me. I wanted something that looked classic and would go with anything i wear. I love that the pendant isn’t to big or too small, its just the right size and it sits just below my collar bone. As most of my jewellery is silver I asked for a silver necklace so i knew it would go well with what i already had. I’m so grateful for this and it’s something ill keep for the rest of my life.

Benefit Gimmie Brow

I’ve mentioned this product before as it’s fairly new. I’ve been loving using it throughout this month, its so convenient as its really easy to use and i normally leave my makeup to last the minute on a weekday so this is the perfect solution for when I’m running late. Another bonus is that the pencil is two sided, on the other side of the pencil is a spoolie i find these really useful when doing my brows, i find if I’m rushing i can sometimes make them too strong so i just use the spoolie to brush it out which fades it slightly.

Breaking Bad- Netflix

I know i’m very late to the bandwagon on this, but my boyfriend and i were looking for a new tv series to watch together and we both hadn’t seen this series yet. Obviously we had both been recommend it by other people so we can it a go.. I’m now hooked i think it’s a really easy series to get into.

Smokey pink eye look

Hello lovelies, today I thought I would show you how I created this smokey pink eye look.

For this particular look I used the Revolution Beyond Flawless eyeshadow palette. There are lots of pinks and purple shades in this palette so it was great for creating a smokey look with a pop of pink.

To start of the look I primed my eyelids using the freedom eyelid primer, I like to use this primer as it gives a good base and really helps the eyeshadow to stay on. As a base shadow I used the shade flawless all over my lid with the real techniques crease brush.

I then used the shade sand dune all over the lid, this is a mauve pink colour which is a nice colour to apply all over. In the outer third I applied some of the shade brunette, which is more of a browny mauve colour this shade blended together nicely with sand dune. For this part of the look I used the real techniques blending brush.

Using the same brush, after blending that through I then went in with a darker shade in the outer corner of my lid to darken the look up and make it a bit more smokey. For this is used a mix of bistre and blackest which are some of the darkest shades in this palette. You can really darken a look up with these shades so I went lightly first so I was able to build the colour up.

I then put some concealer through the middle and inner corner of my lid, this was so that when I added the shimmers shades i would get the best colour pay off and it helps the colour to stay on for longer. Once i’d blending the concealer in i used my finger and put the shade spice through the middle of my eyelid, this is a really gorgeous pink colour and it glistens on the eyelids when you’re in the sunlight.

In the inner corner of my eye I put a little bit of the shade mineral, this really brightens up the corner of the eye and i think completes the eyeshadow as it adds an extra glow.

Screen Shot 2018-05-30 at 17.50.43.png

After I’ve finished applying the eyeshadow I used my new 17 liquid eyeliner to create a cat eye which i think worked really nicely. The colour was very pigmented and it was easy to create the flick. For mascara I used the 17 VaVa Voom which gave my lashes a lift and gave them an extra curl as I used lash curlers before applying the mascara.

Let me know what you think of this look!

Beauty Haul

Hello lovelies, today I thought I would show you a little haul as I did some online shopping on Boots a few days ago.

Everything I purchased is by the brand Seventeen, I was on the Boots website and I believe they are discontinuing the range which is a shame but would justify why the prices of everything is so cheap! I purchased 6 items and my order came to just under £10 which was amazing!

Define and Conquer Contour Set

The first thing I saw was the Define and conquer contour set, as you can see in the set you get a contour and highlight for the price the size of the product was pretty good, I would say it’s about the size of my palm mine is in the shade fair. I thought it was good that it comes with a 4 step guide, this can be useful to someone is new to contouring.

I thought this was a really lovely contour shade perhaps a little warm but I think it worked pretty well, as the product blends in easily you can’t really go wrong with it. I don’t normally use a matte highlight so I used it on my eyelids as a base and it worked perfectly it evened out my skin tone and gave a nice base.

BB balm

I also purchased a BB balm, I don’t like to use foundation because I don’t feel I need it and I feel it’s too heavy for my skin. This BB cream was a sort of trial to see whether I’d like wearing something all over my face. It was a very light coverage which is what I wanted and it also is SPF 25 which was one of the reasons I purchased it.

I want to start protecting my face even on the cloudy days as I know that sun damage is not always visible until you age, by protecting my skin now I hope it will help to prevent damage in the future. I like how the BB cream looked on my face, it wasn’t cakey or heavy and it was a lovely shade that matched my skin perfectly which I was worried that it would as I ordered these products online.

Blush Powder

The next thing I saw was a blush, I was skeptical with this product as I don’t use blush at all. As we’re coming into summer I thought it would be nice to start using it, as I think it can just give your makeup look a rosy hint. I got this in the shade China Pink.

I tried it out and really loved how it looked, because I am prone to getting quite rosy cheeks naturally I never bothered before. The colour was subtle and definitely didn’t look too much which is what I was worried about. This blush was easy to blend into my skin and if it looked too strong i just buffed it out and it became more soft and muted.

VaVa Voom Mascara

I like to try different mascaras from time to time, I saw this one Va Va Voom and thought it looked good. I like to use mascaras with brush bristles rather than plastic bristles I you understand what I mean. I feel I can get a better look with brush bristles aha. As you can see this mascara has just that, it is quite a big brush which some people aren’t too keen on but i don’t mind it. You just have to be more careful to not get it on your eyelid.

I got the best results with this mascara when I curl my lashes, I think it a really nice product it gives my lashes a nice lift and has a good colour. I got this mascara in the shade blackest black.

Laquer Liner Liquid Eyeliner

I also picked up a liquid eyeliner as I had run out of mine. I thought the shade was really good it was very opaque and a very dark black.  The product stays on pretty well and it was easy to use. The brush tip was thin so getting the flick was not too hard which is what I struggled with perviously with a liquid liner.

Previously I’ve used a felt eyeliner, but since buying this it may have converted me as it was really easy to use and the colour pay off was great. The only thing I would say that not so good is the actual product is very small so I don’t know how long it will last, but I would be great for travel as it won’t take up lots of space.

Holo Nail Polish

The last product I purchased was a silver holographic nail polish. I really like wear metallic colours on my nails and as this was on offer I thought I’d give it a go. The shade is quite opaque and I only used one coat which looked pretty good. I don’t know if it’s fully holographic but it does change colour slightly in the light. Overall I liked the shade and you only need one coat, what more could you want?

I would recommend all of these products I’m really glad I purchased them whilst I could, there are still products available on boots but once they run out its gone 😦

Let me know if you have tried any of these products or if you are going to before they are gone!

Thanks for reading 🙂

This or That Challenge

Hello lovelies, i was challenged by the Life of Menta to do the This or That Challenge. I thought it looked interesting and had a read of her post and thought i would join in. I will be answering the same questions that were in her post, you can check it out here …. This or That challenge  The aim of the challenge is to answer the questions by choosing between two options, pretty simple.

Lets get started…

Question 1: Shower in the morning or evening

This one is hard to pick between, if it is a week night i will shower in the evening as i don’t have much time in the mornings. If its a weekend then i will definitely shower in the morning as i’m normally not in any rush to be anywhere.

Question 2: City centre or close to nature

I love both of these things when your in the city everything is all go and there is a buzz constantly. I would have to go with close to nature as it’s where i’ve been brought up and i don’t think i could be in a city centre 24/7. I love walking out into the fields and along country tracks, i find it peaceful and gives you time to think.

Question 3: Bright colours or neutrals

I love bright colours, but i tend to play it safe with a lot of clothing. I am trying to wear more brightly coloured outfits as its summer time. I would go for bright colours, although neutrals is a safe bet.

Question 4: Spring or Autumn

This is such as tricky question! I love all of the seasons as they all give opportunity for different things. I think i would have to pick autumn as its such a cosy time of year, the cinnamon scented candles come out and you can cosy up in-front of the tv with a blanket!

Question 5: Mint or cinnamon

This question sort of stems off from the one before, i love mint as its really fresh as it wakes you up. Cinnamon is going to have to be a winner with this one as it is also a favourite of mine as its so warm and makes you feel really cosy in the winter months when its cold outside.

Question 6: Planned or spontaneous

I like to feel organised so i would probably go with planned, although being spontaneous is great at times.

Question 7: A movie at home or at the cinema

This is a hard one, watching movies at the cinema is great you get the big screen and sound effects, but i would have to go with at home because you can get cosy in bed or on a sofa and still eat popcorn and you don’t have to leave the house!

Question 8: Espresso or latte

I’m not that keen on coffee but i am trying to make myself like it, i would go with a latte as i imagine it would be a lot more weak than an espresso.

Question 9: Hugs or kisses

I would choose both if i could but i think i’ going to have to choose hugs as they can really change my mood if i’m not feeling great, they cheer me up.

Question 10: spicy or mild food

I do like spicy food but i can’t have anything too hot because i feel like it just ruins the meal because i can’t taste anything aha! I would go for mild food definitely.

Question 11: Leather or lace

I love the look of lace i think it’s really classy and feminine and i would say it suits me better than leather does so i would go for lace.

Question 12: Overdressed or underdressed

I think i would rather be underdressed than overdressed, i feel like it’s easier to blend in looking underdressed but if you’re all dressed up and none else is it’s going to be hard to not stand out aha.

Question 13: Adventure or comfort

I think adventure would be the one i would choose for this question, i love going out and exploring new areas and doing new things.

Question 14: Tv series or movie

I do love watching movies, but i think tv series have to be my favourite because they last so much longer!

Question 15: Rock or country music

I was brought up on pop and country music, i never really listen to rock so i would choose country.

Question 16: Red or white wine

I’m not a fan of red wine so this would be an easy choice, white wine.

Question 17: Working alone or in a team?

I prefer working on my own, the reason being is that i like to be in control of things and when you work in a team you are dependant on others to work with you just as hard which doesn’t always happen.

Question 18: Swimming or sunbathing?

I love both of these things, but i would say swimming just beats sunbathing.

Question  19:  Fast food or sit-down restaurant?

As much as i like fast food, i would say a sit down restaurant would have to be my favourite. I love going out with family or my boyfriend for dinner.

Question  20: Matched or mismatched socks?

Definitely matched, i don’t think i could do mismatched socks it would just annoy me haha.

Question 21: Dancing or singing?

I love doing both, by no means am i good at any of them aha but i think i would say singing.

Question 22: Phone or the internet?

I think i would choose the internet, when i am at home i spend much more time on my laptop than i do my phone. I think you can do just as much with the internet as you can on your phone.

That’s all of the questions answered!

If you want to give this challenge a go, do it!

Im going to challenge a few bloggers to do this below, but don’t feel like you have to!

Spring Evening Eye Look

Hello lovelies, today I thought i would show you an eye look that I’ve been really enjoying doing throughout the spring.

This look is subtle and I like the warm tones within it, i think that this look is good if you’re going out somewhere on an evening throughout spring or summer where you’re sitting outside. The glitter is lovely when it catches the light and i think that it finishes off the look really well.

The first thing I did to create the look was apply a primer to my eyelids, i used the Freedom Eye Primer. I like this one as it blends out nicely and it leaves a nice base and evens out the skin tone on my eyelids. To blend this out i use my real techniques miracle completion sponge which is great to use on eyelids because you can use the rounded part on the main part of the lid, but then for the inner corner to make sure it’s all blended out i use the flat side as i find it good for getting into corners. I’ve also used the collection lasting perfection concealer underneath my eyes to brighten them up.

For this eye look I’ve used the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette which I’m really loving using, I’ve been using it a lot more as the weather has been getting nice it makes me more motived to make more of an effort with my makeup.

The first shade I use is White Chocolate, I put this all over my lid using the real techniques deluxe crease brush as it’s quite a bit eye brush so it’s easier to get the product across the whole lid quickly. This shade is very pale and it’s just a bit lighter than my skin tone so it give me a good powdered base over the primer.

The next thing I do is get the base shadow brush and swipe it into the shade salted caramel. I love this shade, it’s so wearable and you can build it up gradually to how you like it. I put this colour in the outer corner of my eye and then drag it through the crease.

Using the same brush I dip it into milk chocolate which is a slightly darker shade which I find I have to be careful with as it can come out very pigmented, I put the colour back into the outer corner on top of salted caramel. This darkens the look slightly and adds more warmth.

For the glitter I use my finger as I find I get can the most pigment out of the shadow this way. I use the shade Creme Brule and pat it onto the centre of my lid and towards the inner corner. This shade is really warm and gives the look a really lovely glow which i think looks lovely for this time of year.

In the inner corner I use my finger again to pick up some of the shade Marzipan which is a lot lighter the Creme Brule and I think by adding this to the inner corner of my eye it gives the look a pop and it brightens my eyes up.

I think by adding eyeliner to this look it finishes it off really well, if I’m wearing this look in the day time I might not add the eyeliner as I think it helps to make the look more suitable for the evening as it darkens it up. This eyeliner is from Essence, its a felt liner and i have gone over it with a gel liner that I found in Primark which is really good as its super black and stays on all day/night. The last thing I did was apply some mascara, for this look I’ve used the Maybelline lash sensation.
