OOTD | Date Day

Hello lovelies,

Today I wanted to do an outfit of the day. I haven’t actually done one of these posts on my blog yet so this is a first.

My boyfriend and I went out to the cinema today so I wanted to dress smart/casual. We had a lovely meal before hand and then we went to watch Captain Marvel, my boyfriend is a big fan of Marvel so this film was a “must see”. I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend.

img_0679

For the top I am wearing this lovely shirt by Micheal Kors, I love how bold the stripes are. I love the quality of the material this shirt was made from, its 100% cotton so is really breathable. On all of the buttons there is a little MK Logo and they’re all metal so the quality of the buttons is really good and they feel really sturdy. When this shirt is untucked it is quite long so I tent to either tuck it in or tie it up when I’m wearing it. I think this top adds a bit of class to an outfit, I don’t wear shirts very often so when I do I feel a lot smarter than usual haha!

For the jeans I am wearing this dark indigo blue pair from TopShop they are from the Jamie collection. I really love a good high waisted pair of jeans and I think they look great with the shirt. High waisted jeans seem suit me the best as they are tight and sinch in at the waist. The thing I love about these jeans are the belt loops, I normally purchase Joni jeans from TopShop but they don’t come with any belt loops and I love to add accessories such as belts to my outfits! These Jamie jeans are very much like the Joni style but the material is a little thicker and of course they have belt loops which is amazing.

img_0779.jpg

In addition to the jeans I added this belt from newlook. I love the gold detailing on this belt as I think it really stands out when I wear it. I love how this belt looks with the jeans a top, I think it ties the two items together. In my opinion I think the gold detailing on the belt goes well the both the blue in the shirt and the jeans. I get so much wear out of this belt as I really think it can complete a look!

On my feet am I wearing Adidas Gazelles in a baby pink shade. I love these trainers so much, they are so comfortable and very wearable. Although they are trainers I do think that they are on more of the smarter side compared to some of ones I have for example Adidas superstars. I think this type of trainer goes well with the outfit and keeps it a little more casual. As these shoes are suede I tend to only wear them when the weather is nice, so I was glad to see the sun shining today! The baby pink colour of the trainers tie in with my makeup look and add more colour into the outfit.

img_0677

For my hair today I went straight. I recently donated 12 inches to the little princess trust so I’m getting used to having short hair! It feels so different but as soon as I got it cut I could feel the difference, it felt so much lighter which I didn’t expect. As my hair is naturally curly I like to switch it up sometimes, so I decided to straighten it today also with it being cut it’s so much quicker to style!

For my makeup I went quite simple, as my outfit was blues and pink I went for a subtle eye look which I have created a tutorial for on my blog which you can check out here Peachy Eye Look. For this look I used the too faced chocolate bar palette. I wore a light tinted moisturiser, and for my lips I applied Velvet Teddy by Mac.

That’s all for today lovelies, I really hope you enjoyed reading this post. Let me know in the comments what film you last saw in the cinema!

Thanks for reading 🙂

Midnight | Eye Look

Hello lovelies,

How are you all doing today, i hope you have all had a fabulous weekend.

Today I wanted to step out of my comfort zone a little bit and create a little bit of a darker smokey eye look. As you will know if you have been with me for a while i like really bright summery sort of colours for example peaches and pinks and golds, so this look is definitely a new one for me.

I am 100% not a pro or MUA but i just love makeup and really want to venture out with my makeup journey and start trying new looks. I really hope you enjoy reading and seeing the look i created.

The smokey eye is not something i have had a lot of practice with but i wanted to give it a go. I used a couple of different palettes one called “day to night” by Avon and another from makeup revolution called ” …….”.

DSCN1533

For my base i started of with just a simple primer and white shadow to even out my skin tone and create a good base for the rest of my makeup.

To start this look off i went in with a browny sort of colour in my lid which was quite cool toned, i thought by starting off lightly it will be easier to build it up instead of going all in and then not being able to correct it as easily!

After going in with a brown i went in with a darker shade that was almost black but not quite, i applied this onto the outer corners of my eyes making sure to be very gentle. I then blended out that colour a little bit further onto the eyelid and through the crease, this really helped to bring it together and soften the look a little.

Next very lightly i went in with a  black eyeshadow from the Avon palette again, i applied this with a smaller brush to ensure i didn’t pack too much product on. I very lightly put this shade into the outer corners which darkened up the look a lot but i think it definitely added to the smokiness.

Now onto my favourite part of this look, the pop of purple! I wanted to add a but if vibrance to this smokey eye and these revolution pallets are perfect for the job. This palette was only £4 and for the amount of pigment these shades have i think its 100% worth the money.

DSCN1454

I used two different glitters from the revolution pallet, the blue and the purple. I think both of these shades are gorgeous and really suit the smokey eye i saw going for. For these glitter shadows i find you get the most pigmentation out of them when they are applied using your finger.

I went in the the blue first in the outer part of my eyelid, i thought because this was a darker shade it would blend nicely out with the darker colours around the outer end of the lid. After this added the purple shade and it really just made the whole look pop, i especially love how it looks underneath on the lower lash line! I really love the vibrancy of it and how well it works alongside the blue.

To finish off this eye look i added a wing using the Seventeen liquid eyeliner and a little bit of Benefit Roller Lash mascara. I think the wing really adds to the look and makes it a little more dramatic.

I think this look would be great for a night out paired with a sparkly top and a pair of black jeans!

I would love to know your thoughts on this look, do you like a smokey eye? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks for reading 🙂

February BirchBox | First Impressions

Hello lovelies,

How are you? Today I am writing about the February Birchbox, whats inside and my first impressions of the products. Read on to find out more!

As february is the month of love, being valentines the box has this sort of theme, in this months box a few post cards were added in with different wording on the design as you can see.

DSCN1518

Anatomicals Body Cleanser

The first thing that caught my attention in this months box was this cleanser. It is a full size product as it is 100ml. This cleanser is called “no one gets flirty with the dirty pick me up body cleanser” sticking with the theme of valentines day. I have heard of this brand before but until now haven’t tried any of their products out. I really like the scent of the cleanser, at first I wasn’t sure but the more I’ve used it the more I’ve grown to like the smell I would say it’s a unisex scent as it’s not either too feminine or masculine it sort of meets in the middle. It lathers up really well and a little goes a long way. As the RRP is only £4 i would consider buying it again.

Geranium and Grapefruit Body Milk

This lotion is by the brand John Masters Organics, the size of this product is only small as it’s a sample but would be great for travel or to keep in your handbag as it won’t take up too much room. I really love how this makes my hands feel, as one of the ingredients is coconut oil it really hydrates and moisturises.  After using this product my hand feel so smooth and soft but you don’t get any oil residue and the product sinks into the skin very fast. The scent of this body milk is the one thing that I wouldn’t rave about, the main ingredients are geranium and grapefruit. As I am not a big fan of citrus scents this isn’t to my taste, the grapefruit is a powerful scent but you can also smell the floral notes of the geranium. I wouldn’t purchase this again as the full size version is £18 and I don’t love the smell enough to buy it.

DSCN1520

Coconut and Fig Hair Masque

The next thing that caught my eye was this coco & eve “like a virgin” hair mask. I have seen this product advertised so am looking forward to giving it a go. I will do a full review on this once I have given it a few tries. The first thing to say about this product is that i adore the scent, one of my all time favourite scents is coconut so i can’t go wrong with this! It’s not an overpowering type of smell but it is really lovely, and i can’t wait to find out what its like when it’s in the hair. The directions for this product are different to what i thought they would be, you shampoo your hair and towel dry it, then distribute it evenly throughout your hair. This product claims it improves shine, texture and tames frizz. As i have naturally curly hair i can’t wait to see what the results are because my hair goes very frizzy when its natural.

Liquid Shimmer Shadow Eclipse

In this months box there were two shades of this eyeshadow you could possibly get, I received Eclipse. I really love this colour, it is a coppery shade and is a shimmer eyeshadow. I have worn this eyeshadow out once for a few hours, it applied really easily and is really pigmented. This product lasted the whole time i was out, its pretty smudge proof which is great as most powdered shadows start to wear off the longer you wear it. I love how shimmery it is and the applicator makes it easy to apply and enables you to be more precise as it’s not too big.

Tapered Blending Brush

The last item in February’s BirchBox is an eyeshadow brush from the brand Luxie, I’ve heard of this brand and think they are quite popular but I myself haven’t tried their products before. I like the look of this brush and the rose gold detailing is lovely! The bristles are quite soft, although i don’t think they’re as soft as the real techniques eyeshadow brushes. I am yet to give this brush a go but as it say i think it will be really good for blending shadows together. It does feel like a good quality brush and i am going to look into the brand more if i love using this brush.

DSCN1522

That’s all from Birchbox this month. I am quite happy with the selection of different products I received this time, but would’ve liked to see maybe another beauty product added into the mix.

I hope you enjoyed reading and let me know what you think of these products or if you’ve tried any of them out in the comments!

Thanks for reading 🙂

Valentine’s Eye Look

Hello lovelies,

How are you? As it’s Valentine’s Day tomorrow I wanted to share this look I created especially for it!

I don’t normally go this bold with my eyeshadow but I feel like going all out this time round.

To create this look I used the revolution newtrals 2 pallet as there are lots of pinks and reds within it.

DSCN1110.jpg

Base

To start of I put a little bit of Becca primer on my eyelids. As I don’t wear foundation I thought this would be a good way to use it and it worked really well as a primer for my eyeshadow. After I let that set in I went in the lightest shade in this palette which is a very light pinky/cream shade and it makes a lovely base colour.

Builder Colour

Next I added this peachy pink that I used to create my last eye look which was a Peachy Matte style. This palette is really good for building up colour as you can add little bits at a time and it blends in really well together.

All over

Once I had the first layer of colour on I went lightly all over with this orange/red colour which brightened it up a little bit. To do this I used the real techniques shadow brush as it’s good for blending colours together and packs on the shadow evenly.

DSCN1459

Outer third

The next colour I used was a bit bolder, it is a Beautiful bright red. I only had to use very small amounts of this as it’s so pigmented! I used a brush I bought from TK MAXX it’s a bit flatter than the real techniques shadow brush so found it good for placing the colour exactly where I wanted it. I put this colour on the outer third of my eye and then tied it in by bringing it across the top of my eyelid to help it blend well.

Glitter

Before adding the sparkles I went over my lid with concealer in the places where i would be adding the glitter shadows. After blending that out i went in with one of the darkest glitters in this pallet, it is a lovely purple shade with red tones i thought it would go really well with the red. The glitters in this palette are really pigmented, to get the best out of it i use my finger to apply them.

DSCN1467

Inner corners

To brighten my inner corners up I added a light pink glitter shade and blended it in with the darker glitter, this created a ombre effect which i really like. I think adding the pop of colour into the inner corners really helps to complete the look.

Touching Up

After finishing up with the glitters I went over with a soft blending brush and made sure to brush over any harsh lines to bring the look together. The finishing touch is definitely going around the outside of the eye with a makeup wipe and then adding a little bit of concealer to make the lines look sharp.

That’s all for today, I really hope you enjoyed reading and let me know what you think about this look in the comments!

What colour will you be wearing on your eyes this valentines day?

Thanks for reading 🙂

January Favourites | 2019

Hello lovelies,

I hope you are well, today I am going to talk you through my favourites of January. There are a few things I’ve been loving this month including beauty, homeware and books.

Keep reading if you would like to know more!

Woodland Wick Candle

I have been loving this candle, after having all of the christmas scented candles burning for a few months it was really nice to have something different. This smell is exactly what it says on the tin, it’s a cotton/linen scent and fills the room up with a clean fresh smell. One thing I love about this candle is that it’s huge, so there’s no problem with the scent not covering the whole room and it’s not overpowering despite being quite heavily scented in the jar. I love how the wicks of this candle are proper pieces of wood, there aren’t your standard rope wick. As the wicks are wooden it adds to the aroma of the room and gives it a slight woody edge. The colour of the candle fits in perfectly with the scheme of my bedroom as it is all mostly pink white and grey. I would definitely recommend Woodwick candles.

DSCN1410 (1)

Mac Lipstick Velvet Teddy

On a day to day basis I tend not to go wild with my makeup as I am only going to work. I like to add a little bit of a “your lips but better” colour in the mornings just to help brighten up my face. Sometimes I will just apply a lip balm, but recently i have been adding this Mac lipstick on top and it just gives my lips that extra little bit of colour. This is such a beautiful shade, it’s a dusky/rosy pink and matches my lips really well.

DSCN1415

How To Be Calm

Towards the end of January I have been having a bit of trouble with my anxiety. Reading this book when I get home is really comforting. There are so many lovely pages with quotes that help you to relax and feel uplifted, it helps me take my mind off of the things that are getting me down. Sometimes I don’t even know what I am worried about, just sitting and reading really helps to settle my mind for a while. I am really grateful to my lovely mum for gifting me this at Christmas.

DSCN1418

Fluffy Socks

January was a super cold month! And there is nothing I love more than putting on a pair of cosy fluffy socks and sitting in front of the fire with the tv on. I don’t always to have a slippers on when I have my feet up on the couch, fluffy socks are the perfect addition! I have collected quite a good collection of fluffy socks now, i don’t think i will be running out any time soon! MY favourite pairs are from Primark, for around £1.90 you can’t get much better can you?

I really hope you enjoyed reading this post. I am going to make it one of my goals to make sure I upload a favourites post every month!

What products have you been loving this month? Let me know in the comments!

Brow Emergency Kit | Review

Hello lovelies,

I hope you are all well. Today I wanted to write a review on this product I found while looking for a new brow gel in Primark.

I really like using their brow gel, it works really well and holds my brows in place for the whole day. As I was looking I couldn’t find any on their own, instead i found this Brow Emergency set.

For £2.50 I couldn’t not give it a try. As you can see within the set you get 4 items. The first is a little brow pencil, next is a spoolie, then the brow gel and lastly a pair of tweezers. For this price you are getting each item for around 62p which is incredible! I love the look of this little set, it come in a clear plastic container and on the back there is a set of pictures that are showing you the steps to this kit.

The set I got was medium brown I like the feel of the brow pencil and the gel as the packaging for both are mainly matte, i think it gives it a sleek design.

DSCN1388

Tweezers

At first look tweezers are not the best quality in the world but for 62p you can’t complain too much. They are a classic silver colour and the size of them is pretty good as they are the same size as a regular pair. When it came to plucking the hairs they were actually pretty good, i wasn’t expecting them to be so precise and it didn’t hurt much at all!

The Brow Pencil

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this brow pencil. As i said before I got mine in the shade  medium brown The texture of the pencil is really smooth and silky as it goes onto the brows , I  found that it also blended out really well. This shade is a little bit darker than what I would normally go for so it took me a little while to get used to them as it did give them a more bold look. To get this sort of tone you only need to press lightly on the pencil as it is really pigmented. I will definitely continue to use this product.

DSCN1390

Spoolie

Next is the set is a little eyebrow spoolie. I love using spoolies as I find they help so much with getting the hairs all in the right direction and it helps to neaten the look up. My normal brow product is the Benefit goof proof brow pencil which comes with a spoolie on one end and the product at the other end. The handle on this spoolie is not the best quality as its plastic and quite small, apart from this its still easy to use and I think the bristles on it are really good, they are quite soft so the don’t scratch the skin underneath when you’re combing. Due to its size I think this would be a good product to put in your handbag/ travel bag.

Brow Gel

The last piece the this set is the Brow gel! As I mentioned above i really like the brow gel that Primark sell. This one has slightly different packaging and is a little bit bigger than the one i purchased previously but it works all the same. I find this brow gel really good for keeping my brows in place without putting too much product on them like other brands i have tried. What I like about this particular brand is that it doesn’t leave your brows hard or “straw like” as some other brands do. I will definitely be being this product again when it runs out.

DSCN1397

Overall I think this buy was a success, I don’t know if i will continue to use the tweezers but I will keep them in my draw as a back up if i am going away or happen to lose my current pair. My favourite part of this set has to be the brow pencil as it really did surprise me with how well it worked.

Have you tried this brow set, or will you try it after reading? What brand is your favourite brow gel from?  Let me know in the comments!

Smokey pink eye look

dscn1105-e1527696750503.jpg

Hello lovelies, today I thought I would show you how I created this smokey pink eye look.

For this particular look I used the Revolution Beyond Flawless eyeshadow palette. There are lots of pinks and purple shades in this palette so it was great for creating a smokey look with a pop of pink.

To start of the look I primed my eyelids using the freedom eyelid primer, I like to use this primer as it gives a good base and really helps the eyeshadow to stay on. As a base shadow I used the shade flawless all over my lid with the real techniques crease brush.

I then used the shade sand dune all over the lid, this is a mauve pink colour which is a nice colour to apply all over. In the outer third I applied some of the shade brunette, which is more of a browny mauve colour this shade blended together nicely with sand dune. For this part of the look I used the real techniques blending brush.

Using the same brush, after blending that through I then went in with a darker shade in the outer corner of my lid to darken the look up and make it a bit more smokey. For this is used a mix of bistre and blackest which are some of the darkest shades in this palette. You can really darken a look up with these shades so I went lightly first so I was able to build the colour up.

I then put some concealer through the middle and inner corner of my lid, this was so that when I added the shimmers shades i would get the best colour pay off and it helps the colour to stay on for longer. Once i’d blending the concealer in i used my finger and put the shade spice through the middle of my eyelid, this is a really gorgeous pink colour and it glistens on the eyelids when you’re in the sunlight.

In the inner corner of my eye I put a little bit of the shade mineral, this really brightens up the corner of the eye and i think completes the eyeshadow as it adds an extra glow.

Screen Shot 2018-05-30 at 17.50.43.png

After I’ve finished applying the eyeshadow I used my new 17 liquid eyeliner to create a cat eye which i think worked really nicely. The colour was very pigmented and it was easy to create the flick. For mascara I used the 17 VaVa Voom which gave my lashes a lift and gave them an extra curl as I used lash curlers before applying the mascara.

Let me know what you think of this look!

Beauty Haul

Hello lovelies, today I thought I would show you a little haul as I did some online shopping on Boots a few days ago.

Everything I purchased is by the brand Seventeen, I was on the Boots website and I believe they are discontinuing the range which is a shame but would justify why the prices of everything is so cheap! I purchased 6 items and my order came to just under £10 which was amazing!

DSCN1065

Define and Conquer Contour Set

The first thing I saw was the Define and conquer contour set, as you can see in the set you get a contour and highlight for the price the size of the product was pretty good, I would say it’s about the size of my palm mine is in the shade fair. I thought it was good that it comes with a 4 step guide, this can be useful to someone is new to contouring.

I thought this was a really lovely contour shade perhaps a little warm but I think it worked pretty well, as the product blends in easily you can’t really go wrong with it. I don’t normally use a matte highlight so I used it on my eyelids as a base and it worked perfectly it evened out my skin tone and gave a nice base.

BB balm

I also purchased a BB balm, I don’t like to use foundation because I don’t feel I need it and I feel it’s too heavy for my skin. This BB cream was a sort of trial to see whether I’d like wearing something all over my face. It was a very light coverage which is what I wanted and it also is SPF 25 which was one of the reasons I purchased it.

I want to start protecting my face even on the cloudy days as I know that sun damage is not always visible until you age, by protecting my skin now I hope it will help to prevent damage in the future. I like how the BB cream looked on my face, it wasn’t cakey or heavy and it was a lovely shade that matched my skin perfectly which I was worried that it would as I ordered these products online.

Blush Powder

The next thing I saw was a blush, I was skeptical with this product as I don’t use blush at all. As we’re coming into summer I thought it would be nice to start using it, as I think it can just give your makeup look a rosy hint. I got this in the shade China Pink.

I tried it out and really loved how it looked, because I am prone to getting quite rosy cheeks naturally I never bothered before. The colour was subtle and definitely didn’t look too much which is what I was worried about. This blush was easy to blend into my skin and if it looked too strong i just buffed it out and it became more soft and muted.

DSCN1067

VaVa Voom Mascara

I like to try different mascaras from time to time, I saw this one Va Va Voom and thought it looked good. I like to use mascaras with brush bristles rather than plastic bristles I you understand what I mean. I feel I can get a better look with brush bristles aha. As you can see this mascara has just that, it is quite a big brush which some people aren’t too keen on but i don’t mind it. You just have to be more careful to not get it on your eyelid.

I got the best results with this mascara when I curl my lashes, I think it a really nice product it gives my lashes a nice lift and has a good colour. I got this mascara in the shade blackest black.

Laquer Liner Liquid Eyeliner

I also picked up a liquid eyeliner as I had run out of mine. I thought the shade was really good it was very opaque and a very dark black.  The product stays on pretty well and it was easy to use. The brush tip was thin so getting the flick was not too hard which is what I struggled with perviously with a liquid liner.

Previously I’ve used a felt eyeliner, but since buying this it may have converted me as it was really easy to use and the colour pay off was great. The only thing I would say that not so good is the actual product is very small so I don’t know how long it will last, but I would be great for travel as it won’t take up lots of space.

DSCN1069

Holo Nail Polish

The last product I purchased was a silver holographic nail polish. I really like wear metallic colours on my nails and as this was on offer I thought I’d give it a go. The shade is quite opaque and I only used one coat which looked pretty good. I don’t know if it’s fully holographic but it does change colour slightly in the light. Overall I liked the shade and you only need one coat, what more could you want?

I would recommend all of these products I’m really glad I purchased them whilst I could, there are still products available on boots but once they run out its gone 😦

Let me know if you have tried any of these products or if you are going to before they are gone!

Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil Review

Hello lovelies, recently I went on a little shopping trip and popped into Debenhams. I purchased the Goof Proof Brow Pencil and wanted write a review about what I thought of it.

DSCN1016

I’ve been wanting to try out this product for quite a while now but I’ve just never thought about buying it. As I live so far away from shopping centres it’s hard to find the time to go, so when i saw the Benefit counter i immediately went over to it.

At first glance I loved that packaging and the aesthetic of the product as well as the box, it was neatly presented and on the actual product there isn’t too much going on as you can see from the picture. I really like the silver i think it stands out from anything I’ve got in my collection currently.

DSCN1019

It was really good to see all of the products and be able to test them out rather than looking online and having to guess. A lovely lady helped me with the colour choice and put 2 different shades onto my brows, I tried out 2 and 3. I did like the look of number 2 but i thought it was a little too light for me as my hair is quite dark. We also looked at the shade 4 but i thought it looked far too dark for me, I’m not used to having bold brows so it was a different look.

I went with shade 3 becuase it’s more of a taupy colour, it’s not too light and not too dark and I think it goes well with my hair and complexion as I thought number 4 made me look a but washed out. It was quite a pricey product but I think it is worth the money as the quality is really good and i think it will last me quite a while.

The Gimme Brow product has a pencil at one end which you twist up and down to get more or less of the product, it is an angled pencil and is larger at one end so you can use the larger end for filling in the bulk of your brows and the smaller end can give you a more precise look for the end of the brows.

DSCN1021

On the other end is a spoolie, I love that it comes with this because I think they are great and really useful when doing brows. I use the this end before putting the product in to get my brows into shape, then after I’ve applied the pencil I will go back through my brows with the spoolie to neaten it up and feather the product out. You can also use the it to make your brows look less harsh, if you feel you’ve put too much product in and they look a little too bold I just run the spoolie through and it will help to give you a more softer, natural looking brow.

I’ve been using the Gimme Brow pencil for about 2 weeks now and I’m loving it. The product stays in all day and gives me a natural look which is what I prefer. I would definitely recommend this product for it’s quality as it’s lovely.

What is your go to brow product? Have you tried the Gimme Brow pencil, what do you think of it? Let me know in the comments!

March Favourites

Hello lovelies, today I’m going to be talking about the things that I’ve been loving throughout March and why. I can’t believe another month has flown by so quickly and we’re already in April, I feel like this year is going to go really fast!

DSCN1006

Anyway onto the favourites, the first thing that I’ve been loving throughout March is my coconut hand cream by Palmers. Recently my hands have been getting really dry, I put a little bit of this cream on each day and it’s really helping my hands. It has quite a thick consistency but sinks into the skin rather fast so you don’t have oily hands for ages after applying it, you also only need to use a small amount of this cream as I find a little goes a long way. I loveee the scent of this as if you’ve read any of my other posts you’ll probably know that I’m obsessed with coconut! The great thing about this cream is that it’s quite small so I can bring it around with me and use it during the day, and it’s also really affordable.

The next thing I’ve been loving is the Bourjois Bronzer that I bought earlier in the month. I talked about it in my Mini beauty Haul, I’ve been using it daily since I got it. I love the subtle contour it gives and bronziness to the face without looking too muddy or orange. The smell of this is also incredible it smells really sweet and chocolatey, the packaging and deign of the bronzer is another plus I really like about it. This bronzer is a drugstore product so again it’s affordable and i would definitely recommend it as its lovely! As i am quite pale at the moment i find this great to use to give myself some colour and make me look a little more alive ahah. I would also love to try out a blusher as it’s not something i use currently, if you have any suggestions let me know in the comments!

The P.S Insta Girl nail polish in the shade ‘like that’ is another favourite of mine this month, I picked this up in  Primark as i thought the colour looked lovely and really wearable because i like to have my nails painted but when I’m at college and work I prefer to have a more wearable colour on my nails. This polish was a really great price and it lasts pretty well considering how affordable it is, you can get away with only applying one coat as its pretty opaque but if I have more time I’ll add a second coat to make it look a little more polished. I wear this polish daily and it’s become my new favourite. Along with the nail side of things i have also been loving having shellac on my nails which is what i have currently, the shine never fades and this time i went for a glitter on 2 accent nails, I love the look of this! As it’s quite an expensive thing to keep up i only have them done as a treat, i got them done a few days ago as it’s the Easter Holidays. The last time i got shellac they lasted really well about 2 weeks, when I got them taken off my nails had grown really well and they were stronger so I will definitely carry on getting them!

The last favourite I have for March is the Primark eyebrow gel, I got this when i bought the nail polish a few weeks ago and I’ve been loving it. My usual Rimmel brow gel had run out and I was looking for a new one so I picked this one up and it works really nicely, there is also a bit more product in this one compared with the Rimmel gel. It lasts all day on my brows and I can’t really fault it, if you are on a budget or you just want to try out something new I would definitely recommend this.
